SUMMER ART SYMPOSION 2010 at Aaschule
The summer art symposion offers a group
of up to 20 artists the possibility to work
together for one week in our house of the arts "Aaschule".
The old school at the river Aa is located in Greven, near Münster (NRW, Germany)
Dates: 08. 22. - 08. 29. 2010

Beginners and experienced artists from all countries are welcome.
We speak German, English and French.
For the use of the facilities during the week
and for two meals at the beginning and at the end of the symposion
we ask 50 € from each participant.

We offer the following workshops which are supervised by experienced artists:
Japanese ink painting, Bruni Menting
Calligraphy, Bruni Menting
Spontaneous realism, Heinz Zwernemann
Lithographs-Etchings, Hermann Müller
sculpture, stone, wood, Soapstone, Andreas Laugesen, Sven Turley
Painting like Cézanne, Claude Cuntz
Representation of music in painting, Claude Cuntz

A large studio for paintiers, a hall for sculptors
and much space in the open are available.
The artists are responsible for their own material.
Tea and coffee are free.

Several activities such as:
a barbecue dinner
an excursion to Münster
a session with a model for drawing and painting of nudes
an exhibition on the last day, of the works created during the week
are planned.
Participants are expected to
contribute to the expenses for these activities.
